Description
Become a vital part of our team as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist in Sitka, AK. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when required, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images. You will perform radiographic examinations of all body parts, exercise professional judgment regarding radiation protection, maintain patient records, and participate in departmental quality assurance activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography and CT required.
- Completion of an accredited CT/XR training program or equivalent education.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT or Radiologic Technologist, with demonstrated ability to perform diagnostic medical radiography.
- Flu vaccine required.
- BLS certification.
- Ability to transfer patients to and from radiology and provide age-appropriate care across the lifespan.
- Must be able to take call and report to work within 20 minutes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a hospital environment.
- Experience participating in departmental quality assurance programs and continuing education activities.
Assignment Details
- M-F mid-shift.
- Rotate shifts as required.
- Must be willing and able to take call and respond within 20 minutes.
- May be required to float to other facilities as needed.

As a CT Technologist on assignment, you will support patient care by producing high-quality diagnostic images and adhering to radiation safety practices. You will follow organizational ethics and compliance requirements, work with patients and staff of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds, and perform ancillary duties as assigned to support department operations.
