We are seeking an experienced Travel RN for a 13-week Stepdown assignment in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with PCU or Med/Tele experience who are comfortable with drip titration and floating to similar units as needed.

Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts
Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Charting System: EPIC
Unit Size: 12 beds
Weekend Requirement: 3 shifts in a 4-week schedule
Scrubs: Caribbean blue

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

• Minimum 2 years of PCU or Med/Tele experience

• Active Indiana or compact RN license

• Drip titration experience preferred for assignment to the Stepdown unit

• Candidates without drip titration experience may float to Med/Surg or Telemetry

• Must be comfortable floating to similar units as needed

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

• ACLS, BLS (AHA)

𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀

• Stepdown patient ratio: 1:3-4

• Med/Surg patient ratio: 1:4-5

• Equipment: EPIC, Pyxis, Philips defibrillator, and Philips bedside monitors

• Nurses will not work alone
