Opportunity:

Radiology

Job Details:

• Work with GE CT equipment independently (GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice)
• Average 180 CT exams per day with 3 scanners available
• Staffing includes 2 techs per scanner during day shifts and 3 techs total for overnight shifts
• Perform routine CT exams for emergency department and inpatient procedures only
• Handle trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA procedures
• Work in level 1 trauma setting with at least 1 year experience required
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Follow compassionate care model for patient experience
• ARRT Radiography certification required; CT certification preferred
• Dress code requires charcoal grey uniform
• Must be able to perform all types of emergency department and inpatient CT examinations

Facility:

This 400-bed acute-care facility offers specialized services including the only cardiac surgery program, neurosurgery program, and pediatric intensive care unit in the region. The facility houses the only Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Centers in the area and is Joint Commission accredited with ACR accreditation for CT imaging. Known for quality patient care, the facility has received recognition from The Joint Commission for chest pain, knee and hip replacement, sepsis, and stroke care, and has been named to Healthgrades' America's 250 Best Hospitals list for overall clinical excellence.
