Opportunity:

CT Scan Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Holiday rotation required
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and rotate through all buildings when needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Daily caseload of approximately 60 exams with varying caseload per shift and location
• 1 year of experience preferable, 6 months Level 1 trauma experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT), and SCRQSA (R) (CT)
• Siemens experience and Level 1 trauma experience required
• Must work with Siemens Naeotom Alpha Photon counting- Somaris 10 and Siemens X.Cite- Somaris 10 equipment
• Agency must supply radiation badge as facility does not provide to travelers
• Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
• Epic charting system experience required
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks as guaranteed hours policy
• Treat patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work primarily with cardiac exams (75% cardiac), routine studies, stroke patients, and interventional radiology procedures
• Must be competent in various CT procedures including contrast studies, trauma imaging, and specialized procedures

Facility:

This is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level 1 trauma center with 865 staffed beds. The facility specializes in heart and vascular services and features a dedicated Heart and Vascular Hospital. The organization maintains state-of-the-art imaging equipment and provides comprehensive emergency and specialized care services. During hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams.
