Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2716.00

Opportunity:

PT Inpatient

Job Details:

• 5x8 shift schedule with choice of Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday
• 2 required weekend shifts per month
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• No floating within the facility
• 8 patient visits per day
• Treat patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient diagnoses include but are not limited to: falls, CVA, trauma, pneumonia, ETOH withdrawal, TKA, THA, ORIF, orthopedic conditions, PE, sepsis, UTI, respiratory failure, liver failure, kidney failure, and wounds
• Total joint focus includes same day discharge with last evaluation starting at 5:00 PM
• Covers inpatient areas including ICU and med-surg
• Required certifications: BLS and New Mexico license
• New Mexico license may be pending at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of experience required with acute inpatient experience
• Community hospital experience required
• Required skills include: acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospital, SNF, body mechanics, cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op cervical surgery, post-op shoulder repair, post-op spinal surgery, spinal conditions, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, cognitive disorders, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, home exercise program, and patient/family education
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrub color: Black scrub pants and red shirt
• Free parking available
• Minimum contract length of 10 weeks for new contracts and extensions

Facility:

This community-based hospital is a Level III Trauma Center and Level I Teaching Facility with 65 inpatient beds and 12 ICU beds. The facility offers a comprehensive interdisciplinary support system including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The organization is committed to high-quality patient care and supports a collaborative clinical environment across multiple specialties.
