Opportunity:
Cath Lab Tech
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with call responsibilities (possible 6:00 AM start depending on cases)
• Float between two campuses: Bryan Campus (home base) and College Station Campus
• Scrub routine cath procedures including peripheral, stroke, and EP procedures including LAAO
• Handle 4-6 cases minimum per day at Bryan, with College Station typically having 4-6 cases per week
• Work in 3 cath labs at Bryan (primarily running 2 rooms) and 2 cath labs at College Station (running 1 room)
• Perform cardiac, peripheral, neuro, and traumatic embolization patient care
• Handle EP cases including ICDs, pacemakers, and ablations (typically Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
• Work with 4-person on-call team consisting of monitor, scrub, and 2 RNs
• Use Merge Hemodynamics and documentation system (transitioning to EPIC Gold in October 2026)
• Pre or post-op experience preferred, IR experience helpful including emergent stroke cases
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT, BLS, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Verification
• Charting system: MEDITECH
• Trauma Level 3 facility in acute care setting
• Cancellation policy allows up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

The facility provides specialized care including electrophysiology services, interventional procedures, and emergency stroke interventions.
