Opportunity:
Cardiac Telemetry 7NNA
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Must work 3 of 4 weekend shifts in 4-week period
• Holiday rotation required based on unit coverage
• Patient ratio of 1:3-4 depending on acuity of assignment
• Must have Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (2 attempts allowed)
• Must pass fail exam on day 1 of orientation
• Complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
• Must maintain sterile field competency
• 3-day floor-specific orientation required
• Must interpret EKGs and work with Philips monitors
• Work with cardiac stepdown patients including lung transplant, chest pain, MI, pre-transplant, esophagectomy, ER overflow, and detox patients
• Float to other telemetry units including T5, T6, and Neuro Tele
• Use Cerner EMR system with PCs in rooms
• Navy scrub color required
• Must have natural hair color with no facial piercings
• Men must be clean-shaven for fit test
• Must have own vehicle for travel
• Work with CPAP and high flow ventilation equipment
• 50-mile radius rule applies
