Opportunity:
Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapy
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour day shifts in hand clinic setting
• See approximately 12 patients per day in outpatient environment
• Treat patients with hand, wrist, and upper extremity conditions including post-operative orthopedic care, acute fractures, tendon injuries, and nerve injuries
• Perform custom orthoses fabrication for post-operative and acute fracture cases
• Provide therapeutic exercise programs, manual therapy, and orthotics training
• Utilize specialized equipment including ultrasound, TENS, and biofeedback modalities
• Float between Mission Bay, Mount Zion, and Bayfront facilities as needed
• Complete 24 hours of orientation and required modules
• Work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Required certifications: CA OT License, CHT (Certified Hand Therapist), AOTA Hand/UE certification, AHA BLS
• Master's or Master of Arts degree required
• Minimum 3 years of experience with hand clinic and adult outpatient experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Teaching hospital experience required
• 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
