Opportunity:
CT Technologist
Job Details:
• Work four 10-hour shifts per week from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Thursday with no weekends
• Experience with GE VCT and GE Revolution CT equipment required
• Perform and document diagnostic CT examinations upon the order of an approved healthcare provider
• Perform appropriate handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver
• Analyze CT examinations for quality control purposes
• Prepare completed examinations for interpretation by the radiologist
• Operate all CT and related equipment as well as facility-based computer systems
• Administer oral and intravenous contrast media under the direction of physician or per protocol
• Transport, move, and position patients in a safe and appropriate manner
• Assist physicians with special procedures involving the use of CT
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities related to CT
• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA approved school required
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in radiography and CT required
• Maintains licensure requirements with the state of Ohio required
• Maintains annual CPR certification/When Seconds Count certification required
• Minimum two years of experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred
