Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units is required
• Scrub color required: Navy Blue
• Unit specializes in MS Stroke Stepdown patients
• Common diagnoses include stroke, altered mental status, renal, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation, general med surg, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues
• Specialty equipment includes IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
• Patient demographics consist of adult patients
• Unit contains 64 beds
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in medical-surgical with stroke stepdown experience required
• Travel experience required
• EMR experience with EPIC required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS and NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale is required for this unit and can be obtained prior to start)
• Active NY RN license required along with all other active RN licenses
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
