Opportunity:
RN - Emergency Department
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Charge capability highly preferred
• Floating to other units required
• Scrub color required: Navy Blue
• 64-bed unit including 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds
• Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Treat patients across all age groups including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Experience with specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun required
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required with some pediatric experience
• Travel experience required
• EMR experience with EPIC required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Active New York RN license required
