Opportunity:

EUC Lakewood - Emergency Room/Urgent Care RN

Job Details:

• Work full-time night shifts with every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• No on-call or standby requirements
• Float between 4 metro sites: Lakewood, Golden, Arvada, and Indian Peaks
• 2-3 shifts of orientation depending on RN need
• Care for a wide variety of urgent care and emergency patients including stroke, cardiac arrest, simple traumas, substance misuse, and pediatrics
• Average 45-65 patients per day in a 12-bed/room unit
• Perform emergency and urgent care duties, unit chores, and run on-site labs
• Must be able to work autonomously and independently without hospital resources
• Must be a team player, adaptable, and comfortable in a social and versatile environment
• Prefer minimum 3 years of ER experience with both adult and pediatric patients
• Experience in free-standing ER or critical access ER preferred but not required
• Stand-alone lab experience is a plus
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Navy blue - CommonSpirit branded tops/jackets permitted
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), ENPC, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS

Facility:

This is a free-standing Emergency and Urgent Care Center operating independently from a hospital system, equipped with on-site X-ray, CT imaging, and laboratory services. The facility sees a high volume of patients daily and relies on a strong team-oriented culture where staff must be well-rounded and capable of working autonomously. With CT Techs on staff to assist with lab draws, lab processing, EKGs, and room cleaning, the team functions collaboratively to deliver efficient and high-quality patient care across multiple metro locations.
