CT Tech Needed!

Job Details:

• 5x8 shift schedule with variable start times: 15:00–23:30 or 19:00–03:30
• On-call required when needed from 23:00–07:30
• Weekend coverage may be required every weekend based on unit needs
• No floating required
• 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Siemens and Philips equipment experience is a hard requirement
• EPIC required
• Allscripts charting system experience preferred
• Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Performs procedures across outpatient, inpatient, ER, and adult ICU settings
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT CT, ARRT R, ARRT advanced certification
• Required skills include:
  - Adult Acute Care
  - Emergency Department
  - Abdomen without and/or with contrast
  - Chest without and/or with contrast
  - Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta)
  - Head without and/or with contrast
  - Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP)
  - Starting Peripheral IVs
  - Aspirations
  - Biopsies
  - Brain perfusion
  - Colonography or virtual Colonography
  - CT arthrography
  - Drainage
  - Myelography (Cervical, Lumbar)
  - Musculoskeletal trauma
  - Thoracic
• Special procedures include code strokes, CTA, abdomen, pelvis, chest, heart, CT biopsy, spine, chest tube placement, extremities, and facial bones
• Active California license required
• References required
• All required certifications must be included with submission
• No pre-approved time off

This facility is a community hospital serving a diverse patient population across outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and adult ICU settings. The imaging department is well-equipped with Siemens and Philips CT technology and utilizes PACS for image management. The facility supports a wide range of advanced CT procedures and maintains high standards for imaging professionals, operating as a smoke and nicotine-free environment.
