Opportunity:

Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM), with shifts varying as work continues until procedures are complete
• On-call required: one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month plus a call shift and evening shift every week; call requirements may change based on staffing needs
• Holiday shifts required as needed
• No floating between service lines or sister facilities
• Daily caseload of approximately 20 cases per day across 4 to 5 labs with 2 cardiovascular technologists per lab
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called-off hours can be broken down to equal 1 shift
• Must be proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor functions
• Perform and assist with procedures including diagnostic and interventional coronary cath, interventional vascular, angioplasty, shockwave, temporary pacer, IABP, Impella, carotid angiogram, atherectomy, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), FFR/IFR, pericardiocentesis, and cardiac biopsies
• Special equipment experience required: Impella, Balloon Pump, Angiojet, Shock Wave, MAC Lab documentation system, and Vidistar image storage
• Charting system: Epic (preferred)
• Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
• Hospital-issued scrubs provided for Cath Lab
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency
• 2+ years of Cath Lab experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process), and SC SCRQSA license
• Community hospital experience required

Facility:

This acute care hospital features a high-volume cardiac catheterization lab with 5 rooms and a robust team environment supporting advanced cardiac and vascular procedures. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers comprehensive specialty support for a wide range of interventional procedures. Complimentary parking is available through designated lots and garages on campus.
