Opportunity:
RN - Medical Surgical
Job Details:
• 12-hour shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Schedule rotates between day and night shifts based on unit needs - schedule cycles may include consecutive weeks of days or nights with mindful scheduling to avoid frequent flipping between shifts
• Self-scheduling available, however only days listed on contract are guaranteed off
• Primary unit is a 32-bed Medical/Surgical unit
• Day shift nurse-to-patient ratio of 4-5:1 and night shift ratio of 5-6:1
• Must be willing to float to any med/surg unit across all three Fargo locations as needed
• Perform assessments, documentation, nursing tasks, and medication administration
• Equipment utilized includes Epic EMR, Omnicell, and Alaris IV pumps
• Must badge in and out at the facility
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical experience within a large hospital setting (250+ beds) required
• Cardiac experience highly preferred but not required
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Active ND or Compact RN License required (must be willing to obtain if not currently held)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS (must be willing to obtain prior to start)
• Must have experience within a large hospital setting of 250+ beds
• BSN not required
• Trauma Level 1 facility
• Acute care setting

This is a large, acute care hospital facility operating at Trauma Level 1 with multiple locations across the Fargo area. The facility utilizes Epic EMR as its charting system and maintains high standards for patient care across its medical/surgical units. The organization supports a collaborative scheduling environment and offers access to comprehensive resources and modern medical equipment to support quality patient outcomes.
