Opportunity:
RN - Medical/Surgical
Job Details:
• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas
• Assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, X-rays, and other diagnostic tests
• Participate in planning and implementation of written care plans under the direction of a Physician
• Perform standard assessments using basic equipment
• Administer medications with attention to visual acuity and hand-eye coordination
• Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Uphold patient safety standards and interact positively with team members and patients
• Respect patients' culture, lifestyle, religion, and age when planning or implementing care
• Active New Hampshire RN license required or eligibility to obtain one
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing required
• Clinical experience preferred
• Membership in a professional nursing organization preferred
• Specialty certification preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
