Opportunity:
RRT - Req 10805
Job Details:
• Block scheduling required
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Position will float between units
• Expected patient ratio of 1:11
• Responsibilities include floor care, ER, code response, and rapid response
• Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Preferred experience with pediatrics and adolescent patient populations
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Washington state license must be in hand at time of submission
• 48-hour shifts approved
• Charting system: Epic
• Scrub color: Any color
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT
• Required skills include: aerosol set up (mask and trach), BiPAP, CPAP, emergency department, extubation, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), nasal and oral airway placement, nitric oxide, pediatrics, pulmonary hygiene, tracheostomy care and management, weaning from mechanical ventilation, rapid response, and trauma
• Preferred equipment experience: Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Trilogy, LTV1250
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
Facility:
This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center with Level II Pediatric Trauma Center designation. With 629 total staffed beds and 644 licensed beds, it is a large teaching hospital offering a wide range of specialized services including a Level 4 NICU, Medical ICU, Cardiac ICU, and PICU. The facility uses Epic for charting and offers no-fee parking for staff.
