**Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced MS Nurse in Stroke Stepdown!**

**Job Description:**

- **Unit:** MS Stroke Stepdown Patients
- **Start Date:** October 26th
- **Shift:** Night Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Block Scheduling not guaranteed)
- **Floating Required:** Yes
- **Scrub Color:** Navy Blue

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide exceptional care to patients recovering from strokes and other medical conditions
- Manage a variety of diagnoses including stroke, altered mental status, renal conditions, COPD, CHF, isolation, general med surg, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues
- Utilize specialty equipment such as IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes
- Work effectively in a 64-bed unit, caring for adult patients

**Requirements:**
- Up-to-date resume with 2+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing, specifically stroke stepdown experience
- Documented travel experience is a must
- Completed skills checklist matching specialty
- Valid driver's license with address matching demographics
- Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications
- NIHSS certification required (can be obtained prior to start)
- NURSYS report for license verification with ACTIVE NY License & ALL active RN Licenses
- RTO must be included at time of submission
- EMR Experience: EPIC
