Healthcare Job Details

• Location: Jersey City, NJ 07302 (New Jersey healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab – Neuro & Vascular Procedures
• Contract Length: 13-week travel assignment
• Start Date: February 2, 2026
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (08:00 – 18:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,830 - $3,040
• Call & Weekend: Call and every third weekend required
• Holiday Coverage: Must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays per unit requirements

Radiologic Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience (2 years preferred)
• Previous travel healthcare experience required (no first-time travelers)
• Active NJ or Compact State Radiologic Technologist license
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS (CCI)
• Experience with Epic EMR charting system
• Preferred: Community hospital, LTAC, Trauma Level I/II experience
• Ability to float within skillset as needed

Healthcare Responsibilities

• Perform advanced cardiac and neurovascular procedures: LHC/RHC, pericardiocentesis, Cardiomems, Impella/IABP insertion, TAVR, Mitral Clips, PFO, AICD/PPM placement, EPS, ablation, LAAC, cerebral/carotid angio, angioplasty, stenting, embolization, thrombolysis, and thrombectomy
• Maintain sterile field and scrub in for procedures
• Set up and operate specialized medical equipment (Defibrillators, Acist, Impella, IABP, Penumbra)
• Perform EKG lead placement, prep access sites, and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• Maintain equipment and inventory, stock healthcare supplies
• Document patient care in Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, etc.)
• Adhere to isolation precautions and rapid response protocols
• Float to other units within skillset as required
