Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active, permanent Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
• Strong clinical skills in emergency care, trauma, and triage
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and emergent medical conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document patient care and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process
