Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Facility Overview

  • Busy Level One Trauma and Stroke Center
  • Equipment: GE and Siemens
  • Shift: 3rd shift, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM

Required Credentials & Compliance

Certifications

  • BLS (Basic Life Support): Required for onboarding. Acceptable certifications include AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military. Preference for AHA certification.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists): Required for onboarding.

Licenses

  • Professional License Verification: Must provide primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start date. MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted.

Personal Health Requirements

  • Fit Test (N95 Respirator): Required within 365 days of start date and updated annually. Must be completed on the specific MGB form. No religious exemptions.
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): Documentation of vaccination or proof of immunity required.
  • Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30). No exemptions allowed.
  • TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if there is a break >6 months.
  • Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break.
  • Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation: Required if fit test is required.
  • Hepatitis B: Strongly preferred but optional.
  • Tdap Vaccine: Preferred but optional (within 10 years).
  • Positive PPD - Negative Chest X-Ray: Required if TB test positive.

Professional Requirements

  • Criminal Background Check: Within 45 days prior to start date, including international searches if applicable.
  • Massachusetts CORI Check: Within 30 days prior to start date.
  • National Sex Offender Check: Within 30 days prior to start date and updated annually.
  • Exclusion Checks: Within 30 days prior to start date and annually (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid).
  • SSN Trace: Must be run with criminal check covering last 7 years.
  • Education Verification: Verified through background check company, confirming highest level of education.
  • References: Two recent references required, at least one supervisor or above in the skillset.

Submission Requirements

  • Resume: Must include past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
  • Skills Checklist: Required for submission.
  • Candidate Submission Coversheet: Required for submission.

Assignment Confirmation

  • Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for all initial assignments and extensions, updated if start date changes.

This is a 13-week long-term assignment for a CT Technologist working 3rd shift on weekends at a busy trauma and stroke center in Boston. Candidates must meet strict credentialing, licensing, health, and background check requirements prior to onboarding. Compliance with vaccination and testing protocols is mandatory.
