Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Summit, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel Contract (Clinical - Allied)
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Description

• Provide direct patient care with emphasis on pulmonary function testing and initiation of CPAP devices
• Support requests for durable medical equipment (DME) such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers
• Assist in training patients on the use of inhalers
• Set up patients with DME equipment
• Collaborate closely with physicians

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 1 year hospital or physician office experience in respiratory therapy

Education

• Graduation from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program (Required)

Certifications & Licensure

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from NBRC
• New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Skills

• Computer literacy required
