Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position

Experience Requirements

• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required

Certifications Required

• ARRT (CT)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

Background Checks

• 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, updated annually
• SS Trace, Counties, Nationwide, Sex Offender, FACIS Level 1M
• Education verification or official transcript (diploma not accepted)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required upon hire
• Pennsylvania-specific: PA Statewide (PATCH) background check required
• Fingerprinting via Pennsylvania Department of Human Services required within 5 years of start and updated every 5 years (for PA placements only)

Health Requirements

• Physical exam within 2 months of start (no annual update required)
• Fit test within 12 months of start (3M 1870+ model required; no on-site testing)
• Current Tdap vaccine or titer
• Negative TB test (Qgold or TSPOT within 90 days of start; chest x-ray if positive)
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
• Hepatitis B: Series, titer, or declination accepted
• Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer
• 10-panel drug screen within 60 days prior to start
• Seasonal flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 - Apr 1)
• COVID-19 vaccine no longer required prior to start; exemptions require mask use at work

Additional Certifications & Competencies

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) may be required depending on unit
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) as applicable
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) as applicable
• Medication and competency exams as applicable
• Pass/Fail Basic Dysrhythmia Exam during orientation (one attempt only)

Licensing

• Primary source verification of state license required
• Compact licenses accepted for Physical Therapists
• NURSYS verification for RN, LPN/LVN, AP as applicable

Facility Specific Requirements

• Completion of assigned education modules prior to orientation (approx. 6 hours)
• Photo for badge required prior to start

References & Work History

• Two professional references within 2 years of start
• Work history verification required (state-specific mandates apply)

State-Specific Requirements (Pennsylvania)

• Child Abuse Search within 12 months of start (not required for non-clinical without minor contact)
• PA Department of Human Services fingerprint results within 12 months of start

This position offers a structured schedule with no floating or on-call duties, suitable for radiology/cardiology professionals with at least 2 years of experience and required certifications. First-time travelers are welcome. Compliance with detailed background, health, and licensing requirements is mandatory.
