Location: Albany, New York
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform CT scan technical procedures under the direction of Medical Director, Section Head, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist.
• Work in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment.
• Create diagnostic images using CT modality and ensure patient safety and positive experience.
• Support teaching and continuous learning as technology evolves.
• Perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (including ICU patients), trauma and emergency room cases, research patients, and specialized CT scan-guided procedures.
• Enforce radiation safety measures according to New York State Department of Health code part 16.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and high school graduate (high school +1).
• Licensure & Certification:

  • New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice in New York.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.

Experience Requirements

• Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Entry level candidates with limited or no experience may be considered but will be assigned MIT level based on skill set and experience.

Schedule

• Monday to Thursday, 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• No on-call responsibilities

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
