Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel)

Location: Albany, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center.
• Perform technical CT procedures and assist in clinical evaluation and patient care.
• Create diagnostic images using CT technology.
• Provide a safe and positive experience for patients.
• Support teaching and continuous learning as technology evolves.
• Perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (including ICU patients), trauma and emergency room cases, research patients, and specialized CT scan-guided procedures.
• Enforce radiation safety measures according to New York State Department of Health code part 16.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and a high school graduate (high school +1).
• Licensure & Certification:

  • New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possess a limited permit to practice in New York.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.
• Experience: Entry level accepted; however, 2 years of experience in the specialty is preferred.

Work Schedule

• Sunday to Wednesday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities
