Job Opportunity: CT Tech - Radiology (Travel)

Location: Albany, New York
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform CT scan technical procedures under supervision of Medical Director, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist.
• Work in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment.
• Create diagnostic images using CT technology.
• Provide safe and positive patient experiences.
• Support teaching and continuous learning as technology evolves.
• Perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (including ICU), trauma/emergency patients, research patients, and those requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures.
• Enforce radiation safety measures according to New York State Department of Health code part 16.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School (high school +1).

Licensure, Certification & Registration

• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possess a limited permit to practice in New York State.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CT Tech specialty.
• Entry level candidates with limited or no experience may be considered and assigned MIT level based on skill set and experience.

Shift / Hours

• Sunday to Wednesday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call responsibilities
