Job Opportunity: RN - Med Surg (Travel)

Location: Denver, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Information

Unit: Medical-Surgical (Med Surg)
Number of Beds: 20
Number of Staff: 35
Day Shift Staff: 1 charge nurse, 3 nurses, 1 LPN, 3 PCTs
Night Shift Staff: 1 charge nurse, 3 nurses, 1 LPN, 2 PCTs
Patient Ratios: 6:1 with LPN support
Equipment Used: Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs
EMR System: Meditech

Job Requirements

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
Required Years of Experience: 2 years in Med Surg specialty
Certifications: BLS
Licenses: Registered Nurse License

Preferred Skills

Wound Care
Burn Care

Typical Procedures

Wound and dressing care on post-op burn and flap patients

Work Environment & Culture

Best Personality Fit: Team player, positive attitude
Schedule: 7 PM to 7 AM (Night Shift)

Contract Length

13 weeks

This position is ideal for RNs with at least 2 years of Med Surg experience who are comfortable working night shifts and have skills or interest in wound and burn care.
