Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Evening/Mid Shift) - Chicago, Illinois
Position Details
- Specialty: CT Technologist
- Location: Chicago, Illinois
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 10-hour shift, 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM
- Scheduled Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (including holidays if they fall on scheduled days)
- Days Off: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
- Scanner: GE 64 slice VCT
- Scope: CT only, no X-ray requirements
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in a hospital setting
- Experience scanning ER Trauma, CT Stroke cases, inpatient, ICU, and outpatient exams
- Ability to start IVs
- Experience with Epic EMR system
Credentials and Compliance Requirements
- Driver's License, State ID, or Passport (required for onboarding)
- Prime OIG clearance
- Drug Screening: Minimum 10-panel test including THC (within 60 days of start)
- Color-blind test (annual requirement)
- COVID-19 Vaccine: 2 vaccines plus booster or completed declination
- MMR: Proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer showing immunity
- Annual Respirator Fit Test
- Hepatitis B vaccination (declinations not accepted at some locations)
- Influenza Vaccine or declination (required October 1 - May 31)
- TB Test and Annual TB Questionnaire
- Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
- Tdap vaccination (declinations not accepted at some locations)
- Physical/Health Statement: Must state clear to work (annual or within 60 days of start)
- National Criminal Background Check (within one year of start date)
- Social Security Card
- Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9) or agency attestation
- Badge Photo: Clear headshot with plain background
- Signed Job Description
- Core Competencies Exam: Must score 80% or higher
- Skills Checklist (required for submission)
- DCI/BVP Certification (can be completed via Relias or similar platforms)
