Job Opportunity: RN - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Hermitage, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Overview

• Unit: Women’s/NICU
• Beds: 24 LDRP and 10 NICU
• Patient Ratios:

  • 1:1-2 patients (general)
  • 1:4 Postpartum
  • 1:4 Well Infants
  • 1:2-3 NICU
• Staffing: RN, UC, PCT, Lactation support
• Equipment: Fetal Monitoring, Alaris IV Pumps
• Documentation System: CPN
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM)
• Floating Policy: No floating required
• Dress Code: Black and Hot Pink uniform

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Registered Nurse (RN) License
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• AWHONN (Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in Labor & Delivery

Skills & Procedures

• Advanced skills in Fetal Monitoring
• Experience with Labor and C-Section procedures
• Patient experience requirements include Fetal Monitoring, NRP, and ACLS
