Job Opportunity: Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) (Nights)

Location: Glens Falls, New York
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform a variety of CT procedures independently using prescribed CT techniques for diagnosis.
• Complete all routine diagnostic procedures.
• Obtain intravenous access.
• Prioritize and organize daily workflow.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Utilize basic computer skills.
• Contrast injection experience required.
• GE scanner experience preferred.
• Personal scrubs allowed (any color, no designs or cartoons, no hoodies).
• Orientation: 8 hours non-billable.
• Holiday pay multiplier: 1.25x.
• No block scheduling will be considered.
• Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified before submission; no more than 5 days allowed.
• Cancellation policy: Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts during the contract with 2 hours' notice.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system.
• Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT certification in CT.
• Current BLS certification.
• Contrast injection experience.
• Must have own vehicle (firm requirement).
• Previous or current travel experience strongly encouraged.

Compliance & Profile Requirements

• Must provide New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate upfront.
• Must pass a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance.
• Completion of verbal de-escalation training from approved programs required for onboarding.
• Profile must include:

  • Work history.
  • Skills checklist (updated within the last year).
  • One supervisory signed reference from the past two years.
  • Current licenses and certifications uploaded.
  • Permanent address matching driver’s license/state ID.
• Candidates from certain New York counties will not be considered (Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington).

Additional Notes

• COVID vaccinations strongly encouraged but not required.
• Prior travel experience is strongly encouraged but not mandatory.
