Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Equipment: Philips CT Scanner
Floating: No floating required
On-call: None
Charting System: Centricity RIS-IC
Scrub Color: Charcoal Grey
First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
ARRT (CT) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Additional Requirements

Completion of facility-specific education modules prior to orientation (approx. 6 hours)
Signed acknowledgements for safety manual and pass/fail testing (dysrhythmia exam during orientation)
Pass/fail basic dysrhythmia exam required during orientation (one attempt only)
Pennsylvania-specific requirements:
- Child Abuse Search within 12 months of start
- PA Department of Human Services fingerprint results within 12 months of start
COVID-19 vaccine no longer required prior to start; medical/religious exemptions accepted with mask requirements during work

Notes

No prior travel experience required
No floating or on-call duties
Fit testing is not available onsite and must be completed before start
Facility will not allow candidates to start with pending background or fingerprint results
Candidates must comply with all immunization and health screening requirements prior to start

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with at least 2 years of experience seeking a 13-week travel contract in Philadelphia with a standard weekday schedule and no on-call or floating responsibilities.
