Facility: Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital
Address: 1184 5th Ave, New York, NY 10029
Start Date: Jan 5, 2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Choice of Day and Night available
  • Days: 3x12 hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
  • Nights: 3x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
    Schedule: Every other weekend; may be required to float to MSM/MSW

Position Overview:
The Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) at Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital delivers safe, competent, high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients (infants through adolescents) and their families. The RN practices within the Relationship-Centered Care framework and evidence-based standards, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes and family-centered care. The role may involve floating to other areas within the health system as needed.
Requirements:
Licensure: NYS RN License – Required
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years RN experience – Required
  • Minimum pediatric experience – Required (experience in pediatric med/surg, telemetry, or pediatric subspecialty preferred)
    Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required
Certifications:
  • BLS (AHA) – Required
  • ACLS (AHA) – Required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Required
     
EMR Experience: EPIC experience – Required
Facility & Unit Details:
Unit: Pediatrics – Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital
Patient Population: Pediatric patients (infants through adolescents)
Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:3–4 depending on acuity and census
Float Required: Yes – Float to MSM/MSW as needed
Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
Holiday Work: As scheduled
Vaccine Policy: Flu Vaccine: Required
