Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: Every other weekend, variable shifts; may be required to float to MSM/MSW

Position Overview:
The ICU at Mount Sinai Hospital is a high-acuity critical care unit providing specialized care for critically ill patients. The Clinical Nurse (RN) delivers safe, competent, quality nursing care based on theory, research, evidence-based practice, and organizational standards. Responsibilities include patient assessment, critical thinking in care management, collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, patient and family education, and participation in quality and safety initiatives. Nurses may float within ICU units as needed.
Requirements:
- Licensure: NYS RN License – Required
- Minimum 2 years RN experience – Required
- Minimum 2 years critical care/telemetry experience – Required
- Patient Ratio Experience: 1:2 Staffing Guidelines – Required
- EMR Experience: EPIC experience highly preferred
Certifications:
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- ACLS (AHA) – Required
- Unit: ICU – Mount Sinai Hospital
