Radiology / Cardiology - CT Tech ( 3129206 )
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Friday–Sunday, 3×12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
Location : Orangeburg, SC 29118

Requirements / Preferences

Required Experience: Minimum 1 year
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (CT)
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT, and with the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA). AHA BLS is also required.
Education/Training: Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, or a student clinical rotation with ARRT certification obtained by the end of rotation.
State License: Must be active and in hand prior to start; pending licenses are not accepted.
Radiation Badge: Required; agency must supply the badge as the facility does not provide them.
Special Skills: IV starts, contrast administration, biopsies, and proficiency with PACS. Work involves inpatient, outpatient (Fridays only), ER, and scheduled interventional procedures (Fridays only).

About the Position
Role/Specialty: CT Technologist
The CT Technologist reports to the CT Manager and the Director of Radiology. Working under general supervision, this role is responsible for performing high-quality CT examinations according to established protocols for patients ranging from newborns to geriatric populations, with images interpreted by a physician.

Shift:
On-Call Requirements: Yes. There is an on-call rotation Monday–Thursday from 5:00 PM–6:00 AM. Call is primarily to cover a call-out (typically on third shift) or to assist during high-volume trauma cases. On-call frequency is approximately once every 4–5 weeks.
