Position: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg (Night Shift)

Schedule & Contract Details

• Shift: Night shift – 3x12 hours (19:00 – 07:30)

• Weekends: Every other weekend (EOW), as needed

• Floating: Will float to all Med/Surg floors and potentially to Rehab

• Call Requirements: None

• Holidays: Expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays
  No RTO permitted between Christmas and New Year's

• RTO: Maximum of 7 days

• Local Radius: 50 miles (local candidates will be offered at a lower bill rate)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide safe, high-quality patient care on the Medical-Surgical unit during night shift. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to adapt to multiple units as needed. Nurses may be required to care for patients with COVID-19.

Screening & Interview Process

• Pre-Screen Unit: Candidates will be reviewed by the clinical team to determine clinical fit

• If clinically approved and within WellSpan guidelines, the candidate will be forwarded to the hiring manager for final decision

• Clinical screens are conducted on a case-by-case basis

• Manager interview required

Minimum Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg RN experience

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (required)

• Charting Experience: EPIC experience heavily preferred

• May care for patients with COVID-19

• Tobacco- and fragrance-free facility – travelers must be notified prior to submission

• Floating flexibility required across Med/Surg units

• Compliance with hospital policies regarding holidays, RTO, and workplace environment is mandatory
