Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

Location: Sparks, NV 89434
Job Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: Night Shift | 4×10-Hour Shifts
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

The CT Technologist will operate computed tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety. The technologist will analyze patient body habitus to adjust technical factors, correctly position patients, review physician orders, and obtain relevant clinical data. Responsibilities include minimizing radiation exposure, assisting physicians during procedures, preparing rooms and supplies, managing contrast reactions and emergency codes, scheduling and completing exams, and entering accurate charge codes.

Requirements

• ARRT Certification with applicable state license (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent radiology experience
• CT and X-ray registration required
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
• Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills

Candidate must live at least 100 miles away from the facility

Position Details

Position 1
Shift Time: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Shift Days: Monday – Thursday

Equipment:
CT Scanner: Canon
X-Ray: Client and Siemens
EMR: Cerner
PACS: Client

Experience Required:
CT and X-ray registered. Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively during night shifts.

Position 2
Shift Time: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Shift Days: Friday – Sunday with alternating Mondays
Schedule: 4 on / 3 off and 3 on / 4 off

Equipment:
CT Scanner: Canon
X-Ray: Siemens
EMR: Cerner
PACS: Client

Experience Required:
CT and X-ray registered. Experienced technologist comfortable working independently in an Emergency Room setting.
