Description
Title: CT Technologist (Night Shift)
Location: Greensboro, NC
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 4x9.5 hours (Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 1:30 AM)
Job Responsibilities and All Required and Preferred Skills and Requirements:
-
Perform CT imaging procedures across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, ICU, and trauma settings
-
Provide imaging services for patients across all age groups, including pediatrics, adults, geriatrics; neonatal and infant experience preferred
-
Operate CT equipment and PACS systems (Client and Siemens preferred)
-
Perform CT exams of head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, musculoskeletal, and vascular CTA
-
Administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs (preferred)
-
Support special procedures including drainage; biopsies, aspirations, brain perfusion, myelography, cardiac CT, and transplant studies preferred
-
Work in a Level II Trauma Center, comprehensive stroke center, and large cardiac center
-
Participate in on-call rotation (approximately 2 shifts per month if needed)

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
Required Qualifications:
-
Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
-
ARRT (R) certification
-
BLS certification
-
Experience with PACS and contrast administration
-
Experience in outpatient, inpatient, ED, and ICU settings
-
NICU, PICU, and Adult ICU experience required (NICU/PICU preferred for night shifts)

Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Teaching hospital and community hospital experience
-
Level I Trauma experience
-
Experience with biopsies, IV starts, and advanced CT procedures
-
Cardiac CT and calcium scoring experience
