Description

Registered Nurse (RN) — Adult Med/Surg Traveler (Day Shift)

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Day Shift Travelers for our Adult Medical/Surgical units. Qualified candidates will have solid acute care experience, including trauma exposure, and proficiency with EPIC electronic health records. This role requires autonomy, strong clinical judgment, and excellent communication skills.

Shift Requirements

Day shift
Every other weekend required
Some holidays required
Excessive time off and set day requests will not be approved

Minimum Qualifications

Current New York State RN Registration
BLS Certification (able to be recertified)
Minimum 1.5 years recent acute care experience (within the past 2 years)
Experience must be at a facility of similar size and trauma level as the hiring hospital
IV starts, lab draws, and telemetry monitoring proficiency
EPIC Electronic Medical Record experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
