Description
Title: Speech-Language Pathologist – Pediatrics
Location: San Diego, CA
Duration:20-week contract
Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
(4x10-hour shifts may be considered)
Job Responsibilities

Provide speech-language pathology services to pediatric patients in an outpatient children's hospital setting

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat infants and young children (ages 0–3) with speech, language, feeding, and developmental disorders
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments
-
Treat children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental conditions
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary pediatric care teams to support patient progress
-
Educate families and caregivers on treatment strategies and home programs
-
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
Required Skills and Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of pediatric speech-language pathology experience
-
Required experience treating patients ages 0–3 years
-
Experience working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
-
Prior children's hospital experience
-
Pediatric outpatient clinical experience
-
Active California state SLP license
-
CCC-SLP certification
-
Current BLS certification
Preferred Skills
-
Experience with VitalStim therapy
-
Strong background in early intervention and multidisciplinary pediatric care
