Description
Title: CT Technologist (CT Tech)
Location: Columbia, SC
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day – 3x12 hours, 07:30 AM – 08:00 PM (Friday / Saturday / Sunday)
Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements
Responsibilities:
-
Perform CT imaging procedures for adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department patients.

Conduct a wide range of CT exams including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, musculoskeletal trauma, and vascular CTA.

Perform special procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, drainage, myelography, CT arthrography, and virtual colonography.

Prepare and administer contrast media, start peripheral IVs, and perform venipuncture.

Utilize PACS and Siemens CT equipment for image acquisition and documentation.

Provide imaging support for Level I Trauma cases.

Maintain patient safety, quality imaging standards, and professional documentation practices.
Required Qualifications:
-
Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience.

Active state license.
-
ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications.
-
BLS certification.
-
Siemens CT equipment experience.
-
Minimum 1 year EPIC experience.
-
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced trauma and emergency setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
ACLS certification.
-
Teaching hospital experience.
-
Community hospital experience.
-
Trauma Level I experience.
-
PACS VUE experience.
-
Venipuncture experience.
