⏰ Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 AM – 07:00 PM)

• Weekend Requirement: Half of scheduled shifts

Unit Details:

• IMC / Stepdown

• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4

• Floating required to units of equal or lesser acuity

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience

• First-time travelers not accepted

• Prior EPIC documentation experience required

Certifications Required:

• BLS, ACLS

Scrub Color:

• Dark Grey / Pewter

Skills Required:

• PCU / IMC / Stepdown (required)

• MS/Telemetry preferred

• Dysrhythmia interpretation

• Telemetry (on-unit monitoring)

• Rapid Response Team utilization

• Post cardiac angiogram & post MI care

• Pre/Post cardiac cath & cardiac surgery care

• IV insulin protocols & insulin drip titration

• Feeding tube care & management

• Hemodialysis management & renal failure care

• Accessing ports

• Blood product administration

• Central line & peripheral line management

• PICC line management

• Starting IVs

• Heparin protocols

• Cardiac drips (manage only – no titration)

• CVA care

• Surgical drains

• Oxygen delivery systems (HFNC, nasal cannula, face masks)

• Isolation precautions

• Wound care
