Description
Title: Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP – Pediatrics)
Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: 20 weeks
Shift: Day shift; either 4x10-hour shifts (08:00–18:30) or 5x8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday
Job Responsibilities

Provide pediatric speech-language pathology services in an outpatient and hospital-based setting
-
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, feeding, and communication disorders in pediatric patients
-
Work with infants and young children (ages 0–3), including patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
-
Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Float within hospital and to satellite locations as needed, including NICU-related coverage when applicable
Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Experience with children ages 0–3 years
-
Experience treating patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Children's hospital experience
-
Pediatric outpatient experience
-
Active California State SLP license (must be in hand or ETA provided)

BLS certification
-
CCC-SLP certification
-
Ability to float within hospital and associated satellite locations
