Position: Registered Nurse Case Manager
Facility: University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center Bel Air
Location: 500 Upper Chesapeake Dr Bel Air, MD 21014-4324
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start date: 01/26/2026

Case Manager Registered Nurse – Days (40 Hours)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | No Weekends
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 01/26/2026
Shift / Hours:

5×8 Day Shifts
Start times: 8:00 AM or 8:30 AM
End times: 4:00 PM or 4:30 PM (based on department needs)

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of RN experience
First-time travelers accepted with inpatient hospital / acute care experience
EPIC charting preferred

Licensure & Certifications:

Active Maryland RN License (required)
BLS preferred

Workload:

Average daily census: ~15 cases per day

Role Overview:

Inpatient case management
Coordination of medical home care services
Discharge planning and placement coordination
Addressing social determinants and wrap-around services to ensure safe discharges

Hourly Breakdown Total Hourly Pay Rate: $ 54.00 Per Hour On W2(Taxable): $ 18.00 Per Hour Stipend(Non-Taxable): $ 36.00 Per Hour Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $ 2,160.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $ 720.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $ 1,440.00 Per Week OT Rate ON W-2 $ 27.00 Per Hour Hours per week: $ 40.00 Hours
