Description

Title: Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Technologist (MFM / OB-GYN Sonographer)
Location: Baltimore, MD
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 – 16:30)

Responsibilities:

Perform high-risk OB and maternal fetal medicine ultrasound examinations in an acute care setting.
Conduct complete OB/GYN studies including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester imaging.
Perform fetal anatomical surveys, fetal echocardiography, amniotic fluid index, and umbilical cord Doppler studies.
Support procedures such as amniocentesis.
Perform portable ultrasound exams as needed.
Utilize PACS for image storage and documentation.
Maintain infection control and isolation precautions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary obstetrics and maternal fetal medicine teams.

Required Qualifications:

ARDMS OB/GYN certification.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an MFM / OB-GYN ultrasound technologist.
Proven experience in maternal fetal medicine, high-risk OB, OB/GYN, and portable exams (hard requirement).
Ability to manage a high-volume environment (average census 70–80; ~8 exams per day).
Strong knowledge of fetal imaging, anatomy, and high-risk pregnancy protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

Management or lead experience.
Prior experience in maternal fetal medicine or high-risk OB specialty units.
Familiarity with PACS systems.
