Registered Nurse (RN) – Step Down

📍 Location: York, PA
🏥 Unit: Tower 2 – Step Down / Intermediate Care

Shift

Night Shift: 4x12-Hour
- Hours: 18:45 – 07:15

Position Overview

Tower 2 is a 60-bed mixed-acuity cardiac and telemetry step-down unit specializing in the care of adult patients (18 ) recovering from cardiac and vascular surgeries and managing complex cardiac medical conditions requiring intermediate-level care.

Patient populations include:

Post open-heart surgery
Ventricular assist devices (VADs)
Vascular and thoracic surgery patients
Post-interventional cardiology procedures
Heart failure and acute coronary syndrome
Patients requiring step-down/intermediate care
May care for COVID patients

Screening & Interview Process

Pre-Screen Unit: Candidate reviewed by clinical team for fit
Manager interview required
Clinical screens sent case-by-case

Requirements

Minimum Experience: 2 years RN experience
Certifications:
- BLS (required)
- ACLS (required)
EMR: EPIC experience required
