RN – Labor & Delivery

Location: Rochester, MI

⏰ Shift & Schedule

• Shift: Night shift – 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week

• Weekends: Every other weekend required

✅ Requirements

• Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience

  • 1 year of Cerner experience

  • Proficiency in labor, postpartum, and special care

• Certifications:

  • BLS (Required)

  • NRP (Required)

• Licensure:

  • Current Michigan RN license (Michigan State Board of Nursing)

🎓 Education

• Required: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing ( BSN)

The Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. The RN utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and family education. The role includes effective communication with the healthcare team and active participation in identifying and resolving variances from patient care goals.
