Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR RN)
Location: Albany, NY
Shift: Days | 4x10 (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
On-Call: Possible (as per unit requirement)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a high-volume surgical team. The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative experience across multiple specialties and be comfortable in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Requirements:

• Active New York RN License – Required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience – Required
• Recent OR experience in a hospital setting – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS (AHA) – Preferred
• Travel experience – Preferred

Required Experience:

• Cardiac surgery
• Neuro surgery
• Thoracic procedures
• Orthopedic surgery
• Vascular surgery

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide intraoperative nursing care as a circulator and/or scrub nurse
• Prepare and maintain sterile field and surgical instruments
• Assist surgeons during procedures across multiple specialties
• Ensure patient safety, positioning, and infection control standards
• Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical team for efficient case flow
• Document all perioperative care accurately
