Job Responsibilities and Required / Preferred Skills & Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging procedures in an acute care and emergency department setting

• Conduct CT scans of the head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and musculoskeletal system with and without contrast

• Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs

• Perform post-processing including multiplanar reconstructions (MPR)

• Support emergency, ICU, stroke, and trauma imaging needs

• Maintain image quality, patient safety, and accurate documentation

• Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary clinical teams

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience

• Experience in community hospital settings

• Proficiency with CT imaging in adult acute care and emergency departments

• Experience with contrast administration and IV starts

• ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications

• BLS certification

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced ER environment

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Trauma Level I experience

• Pediatric acute care exposure (neonates, infants, pediatrics preferred)

• Experience with Siemens CT equipment and PACS

• Brain perfusion studies, vascular CTA, and CT arthrography

• ICU, stroke, NICU, and PICU imaging experience
