CT Technologist (CT Tech)
Location:
Burbank, CA
Duration:
13 weeks
Shift:
3x12-Hour Shifts | 07:00 – 19:30
(ER-based role; fast-paced environment)
Job Responsibilities and Required / Preferred Skills & Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
-
Perform CT imaging procedures in an acute care and emergency department setting
-
Conduct CT scans of the head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and musculoskeletal system with and without contrast
-
Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs
-
Perform post-processing including multiplanar reconstructions (MPR)
-
Support emergency, ICU, stroke, and trauma imaging needs
-
Maintain image quality, patient safety, and accurate documentation
-
Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary clinical teams
Required Skills & Experience:
-
Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
-
Experience in community hospital settings
-
Proficiency with CT imaging in adult acute care and emergency departments
-
Experience with contrast administration and IV starts
-
ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications
-
BLS certification
-
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced ER environment
Preferred Skills & Experience:
-
Trauma Level I experience
-
Pediatric acute care exposure (neonates, infants, pediatrics preferred)
-
Experience with Siemens CT equipment and PACS
-
Brain perfusion studies, vascular CTA, and CT arthrography
-
ICU, stroke, NICU, and PICU imaging experience
