Description
Position: RN-Labor and Delivery
Location: Bel Air, MD 21014
Duration: 13 Weeks
Client Name: University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center Bel Air
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
L&D RN (Family Birthplace) - Nights - 36H; EOW2YR experience required; first-time travelers accepted
Start Date: 03/09/26
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift/Hours: 3x12s, Rotating Day/Nights (1900-0730 / 0700-1930) - three week cycle of days then nights, rotating
*Manager will also consider straight nights
License/certs required: RN MD state license, BLS, NRP required; ACLS, STABLE, FHM, AWHONN (Beg/Int/Adv) preferred
Weekends: every other weekend required
Holidays: required as they fall, as scheduled
Floating: may be required within the specialty and sister units as needed
On-call: not required
Ratios: (see here for various stages of care) Triage (ratio 1:4); Early labor/induction (ratio 1:2); Active labor (ratio 1:1); CD (ratio 1:1);
Post-partum (ratio 1:4)
Patient Diagnoses: Antepartum, Intrapartum, Postpartum
Antenatal Testing, Triage, Induction, High-Risk, Post-Partum Pre-eclampsia, C-section
Unit Special Procedures/Details: LDRP unit with a Special Care Nursery (Level II NICU); Total of 14 LDRP's, 9 overflow beds (for PP C/S, Antepartum, NAS, bili baby) 2 triage beds, 2 antenatal testing bays, 2 ORs, & 2 PACU bays, 9 bed Special Care Nursery

Hourly Breakdown Total Hourly Pay Rate: $ 65.83 Per Hour On W2(Taxable): $ 18.00 Per Hour Stipend(Non-Taxable): $ 47.83 Per Hour Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $ 2,370.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $ 648.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $ 1,722.00 Per Week OT Rate ON W-2 $ 27.00 Per Hour Hours per week: $ 36.00 Hours
