Broadview ICE Facility - Corecivic

Requirements:

Active LPN license in the state of Illinois
Must have one year of professional nursing experience.
Shifts: 3 x 12s
Type of Facility: Corrections
Location: 1930 Beach St, Broadview, IL 60155
Length: The initial duration is 13 weeks, with the possibility of an extension based on facility needs and performance.
Schedule: Days, usually 7a - 7 pm and EOW
Start Date: March 9

Job Description:

Provide direct nursing care and treatment to inmates/residents, including medication administration and emergency response.
Assist LIPs during exams and treatments; attend sick calls and prepare examining rooms.
Assess and refer inmates with illnesses or injuries to appropriate healthcare facilities.
Supervise and support licensed and non-licensed medical staff.
Coordinate with contract providers and maintain effective facility-wide communication.
Follow all facility and correctional healthcare policies using sound independent judgment.

This is a correctional facility/prison
1 year of experience as LPN required, correctional experience not required
U.S. Citizenship required for ICE clearance ICE Clearance is taking 3-4 weeks to obtain once candidate completes the application.
